Save Today, Use Tomorrow, Live Sustainable
On 28th November IDSA held its conference on the international frameworks of sustainability, their efficiency and the prospects of a more liveable Budapest. The event was jointly organised by IDSA, the United Nations Information Service in Vienna and the Hungarian United Nations Association.
We had the honour of listening to Mr Martin Nesirky's (Director of UNIS Vienna) and Mihály Simai's (President of UNA-Hungary) opening speeches and getting first-hand insight into the UN's work. After a coffee break and networking session, Dr János Kocsis (Vice-President of the Hungarian Society for Urban Planning), Bence Kováts (Advocacy Manager of Habitat for Humanity Hungary) Ádám Kobrizsa (Representative of Mindspace Civil Initiative) gave us useful information about how to create a better world in the future and also how to be more conscious, how to take care of our beloved Budapest individually and what the civil society's role is in this development process.
Thank you all for coming, hope to see you soon!
